More Pictures!

Today, we traveled back to Salzburg and thankfully I found access to a computer to put pictures up. Hopefully this will get everyone caught up on our travels.

07-13-08

On Sunday, we performed in competition as you previously read and did a fantastic job!

After that, we traveled to the Prater for lunch which was a nice place to "un-wind".

Then we traveled to a small city outside of Vienna named, "Pulkao"

Unfortunately, it was raining so we had to play the concert in a very small stuffy community room where we also ate dinner. Even though it was small, we had a lot of funand many students had a experience of a lifetime.

We watched the Canadian group perform first.

07-14-08

The next day we spent sightseeing in Vienna.

The Shöenbrunn
The Vienna Opera House.

Picture at the Mozart Statue
We had dinner in the hills of Vienna at a wonderful resteraunt where our parent companions were also able to join us.

It was a long day for all!

07-15-08

We were invited to play again on Tuesday which was a real honor at this festival. Many groups were not invited to play the 2nd day.

In fact, at the very end of the entire festival, we were the featured group on the stage during the award ceremony. It was such a real honor that many parents were seen with tears in their eyes.

It was then time to dress up and got to a dinner and then the Festival Dance.

We met all the other musicians at the party including the South African Jazz Band.

The South African Band actually played the dance music for us. They are only 4th-6th graders!
Wow!

Everyone put their dancing shoes on!

07-16-08

Today we did more site seeing at the Melk abbey

And the Church of the wedding Scene in the Sound of Muisc.

We arrived at our last hotel in Salzburg,

Wlaked through the beautiful parks

and arrived for dinner

at the Fermate Resteraunt which is at the Mozarteum University, a very famous music school in Vienna

Tomorrow we travel to the Bavarian Alps in Germany, go for a boat ride, and play our last concert of the tour.
